Common questions
Before you write.
Why not just use off-the-shelf software?
Usually you should, and we will say so. Building is worth it when the business runs a workflow the market has not built for, and bending the team around someone else’s software costs more than building the right thing. If a product already fits, that is the cheaper answer and we would rather tell you.
What happens if we stop working with Yathra?
You keep the system. Code, hosting and accounts are in your business name, the build is documented, and another developer can pick it up. A system you cannot leave is not really yours.
How do these projects avoid running forever?
